A Driver Fatigue Monitoring System (DFMS) is essential for your fleet

Reduce the chance of incidents occurring due to distracted driver behaviours in your commercial fleet.

Driver fatigue was a factor in 25 road deaths in New Zealand in 2020, and 113 serious injuries. Poor driving behaviour such as fatigue, distractions and inattention directly affect a drivers ability to make decisions and react to changing road conditions.

These driving behaviours and consequential incidences can happen to anyone with any level of driving experience and skill. A driver fatigue management solution allows you to proactively mitigate the risk to both the general public and your staff.

Our system allows you to continuously monitor the driving behaviour of your staff unobtrusively at all times that the vehicle is in operation. Programmable alert levels and push notifications initially warn the driver and allow them to take corrective action.

However, once the alerts exceed a predetermined level, notifications will be pushed through to your operational staff and/or control centres.

What we offer

Our 1080p quality driver fatigue system offers the ability to alert the driver, in real-time, of potential safety concerns. It allows them to make real-time changes to action safety plans.

Situations the fatigue management solution can monitor and alert on include driver distractedness, drowsiness, driver phone call, smoking, driver fatigue and non masking-wearing, along with other applications.

The system has the ability to store and identify up to 400 drivers per device, allowing efficient management from operational staff to help drivers in need of training or corrected behaviour.

The driver fatigue system utilises an array of sensors, including infra-red, which allows drivers to be identified and effectively monitored in low-light conditions or when they are wearing glasses and/or sunglasses.

Seamless integration with our SS ELITE MDVR systems allows for real-time alarm push notifications and video uploading for abnormal driving behaviours to be sent to driver operations and/or control centres.

The system has a built-in GPS module with no external antenna, which allows for accurate speed recording, as well as turning alerts off below a desired speed. An example is when sitting in traffic, parked, or interacting with customers. This means there will be no false alerts.
